Cofounder of Millimètre Seconde, Roby has been involved within the Fab Lab community for the past 5 years as a coordinator at échoFab and Fab Manager at various Fab Labs of the Maguerite-Bourgeois School Board (CSMB). Passionate about coding and techno- pedagogy, he is particularly interested in learning tactics applied within the laboratories of creation and digital fabrication.
In January 2017, he travels to Silicon Valley to follow a month of training at the alternative coding university 42us. Renowned in the community as a technician and instructor, he is in charge of Techno-pedagogy at Turbine Center and also currently participates in the Emerging Project of Perte de Signal, a mentoring program for emerging artist in digital arts.

Cofounder of Millimètre Seconde, Laurent has been an educator and technician at the Fab Lab du PEC and Makerspace Manager at Maisonneuve College in Montreal. Artist, musician and cultural manager, he is interested in the playful and educative use of digital technologies. He worked with the artist-run center Verticale to set up their mobile laboratory (Villa) which is roaming across the territory of Laval, welcoming Artists-In-Residence in the truck.
After a BFA in Intermedia and Cyber Arts at Concordia University, he completed a degree in Management of Cultural Organizations at HEC Montreal. Laurent is involved with the music label Atondo Musique and with various bands and artist collectives working in the felds of performance & digital arts, and music.
